Scope of works
62 no. bedroom Aparthotel over 6 storeys and a basement, with a commercial unit at Ground level.
Works commenced without a tenant/operator, however, soon after Yotel signed up as operator which meant significant scope and design changes needed to be implemented in a short space of time to avoid programme issues.
Yotel chose Stratford to be their first ‘Pad’ format, the aim being to host guests for longer than the typical 1-2 night stay during the working week. To facilitate this, several of the units have full Kitchens built in.
The Building is in the Stratford Conservation area and involved the demolition of a two storey office block.
